These stylish and easy to fit KeepCool Horse Coats have been specifically designed to keep your horse cool however hot it gets. They are environmentally friendly, brilliant for all outdoor activities (before, during and after) participating in Show Jumping, Dressage, Cross Country or Showing, but your horse does not need to be a show or performance horse to also reap the benefits of a Keep Cool Horse Coat, the coats are great for your horse when outdoors on a hot, warm day and after exercising these coats are superb for horses that sweat. Can even be used whilst travelling in a horsebox or trailer. It has been tried and tested to keep your horse cool for up to four hours at temperatures of 30°c and much longer on a normal summer’s day!
It has been tested with a thermo imager that showed that the cool coat will help an already overheated horse reduce its temperature to normal within 10 minutes.
KeepCool Horse Coat are easy to fit, they feel cool and soft to the touch, are lightweight, breathable, durable and do not drip. The adjustable velcro tabs are simple, secure and comfortable. You can extend the cooling effect after several hours with a hose or from a bottle.
KeepCool products are made from a unique synthetic microporous material that is activated by water. As it puts moisture into the product, the capillary action of the microporous material and the controlled evaporation actually cools your horse more than the outdoor air without making them wet. It is super absorbent - absorbs 6 times faster and holds 100% more water than any other material. They are easy to use, just soak in cool water for a few minutes (no refrigeration necessary) and lightly ring out.
Please note that the unique material is naturally stiff/hard when dry, but becomes flexible, soft and supple when soaked. Many users store wet in the bag that is provided for easy and ready to use. They are unaffected by mold or mildew, are machine washable at max 30°c, use non-biological powder and are re-usable.
